Autumn Show March 2012

Our autumn show opens on March 22 with an invitation-only event for discerning West Australians who love design with a story, integrity and beauty. As part of the night, we are launching our Designer Room Series for which two of Perth’s leading interior designers – Anne Jooste and Judy Maloney (who recently completed the interiors for the Vivanta by Taj Bekal resort hotel in Kerela, India) – have created 12 rooms using a modern sofa and pieces from the collections of Lauder and Howard Antiques and Fine Art, Ottoman Empire and, new store to be launched on the night, L&H. The rooms will be projected onto a wall and two will be left assembled for guests to mingle in on the night and throughout the two-week exhibition. New store L&H is situated in a revamped space between Lauder and Howard and Ottoman Empire. It is a contemporary-focused space of ontrend antiques pieces, such as clean-lined Georgian country and colonial pieces, mixed with unusual, modern-style antique and mid-century rugs and textiles, plus curios collected by the Lauder and Howard team over many years. Also on the night is our annual Autumn Show of important and hard-to-fine antiques collected throughout the world for the Perth market.
