An exceptional French Empire cheval mirror c1815. The piece features wonderful flame mahogany veneers, original gilding and plate glass. The finely chisled gilt bronze mounts terminate in bas-relief swans at the top of each support. Mirrors of this period were weighted such that the glass hung at a downward angle providing a below the neck image as the viewer was supposed to be reflecting upon their clothes, not their face!

A wonderful quality George Ist period walnut and boxwood inlaid chest of drawers c1720. Both the top and the drawer fronts are divided by ovals of boxwood inlay highlighting the wonderful walnut veneers.

A mahogany cabinet with superb shingle veneers c1860.The piece has three upper drawers and three lower doors. Shown with a pair of Regency mahogany chairs c1820.

A French marquetry marble topped commode c1920. Shown with an oil by Léon Jean Alfred Van de Put c1935.

A French figured ash cabinet four door cabinet c1840. The wonderful honey coloured timber with its superb grain make this a very impressive piece.

A Regency period mahogany pedestal sideboard with ebony stringing c1820. A very handsome and practical piece withtwo cupboards and four drawers.

A fine Regancy games table in rosewood, ash and brass c1820. The board part of the top is made up of rosewood and figured ash squares with brass stringing.

This unusual French Empire mahogany secretaire commode features three drawers plus the writing slope, fine colour with gilt bronze capitals, handles and escutcheons and is topped with original grey marble. It is c1810 and a fine example of the period.

A very fine French floral marquetry and ormolu mounted pier cabinet c1870. Shown with two pairs of matching Regency mahogany chairs upholstered in black horsehair c1815.

A French oak Normandy sideboard c1780. A beautiful piece with wonderful original colour and hard ware. Shown with a superb Napoleon III gilt mirror carved with reeds up the side, original glass, c1860.
