An amaranth and rosewood parquetry ormolu mounted writing table with an ivory inlaid monogram and a single drawer c1870. Amaranth is a little similar to King Wood in its original colour and is a tropical South American tree.

A superb quality Napoleon III rosewood and mother of pearl pier cabinet c1870. This beautiful piece has fine rosewood veneers with a birds eye maple interior. The decoration is inlaid brass, ivory and mother of pearl with ormolu mounts and original marble top.

A fine regency period rosewood and boxwood inlaid "Grecian" sofa c1820. The inlaid roundels are of particularly good quality. The Greek revival style was sparked by the discovery of Herculaneum and Pompeii in the second quarter of the eighteenth century.
