Late Victorian Engraved goblet A superb late Victorian two handled engraved goblet. A real triumph of the glass makers art the stem has the inclusion of a silver threepence coin dated 1883. The body is finely engraved with a spray of flowers on one side and the name Mary Alice Hall on the other. |

William IV Period Cut Glass Decanter A fine and good sized WIlliam IV period cur glass decanter c1830. Finely facetted neck with a cushion cut band around the waist of the decanter. Cut "lemon squeezer" base with the original stopper in good condition. |

Georgian punch bowl A Georgian glass punch bowl c1750. A rare survival, punch was widely consumed in the Georgian period and it was a gentleman's duty to mix it at the table. Silver punch bowls are much more common than glass ones. |

French leech jar A French leech jar c1780. Leeches were used for bleeding by doctors until the late 18th century. A muslin cover would prevent the beasts escaping. Interestingly the leech is making a post modern comeback in microsurgery where it is used to stimulate blood flow. |
