Low Tide, oil on canvas by Henk Van Leeuwen, Dutch c1920. There is lovely early 20th century feel to this landscape.

"A Stiff Breeze" oil on canvas by Franklin D Briscoe, American c1890. A fantastic marine genre painting by a highly regarded American artist. the work retains its original fine gilt frame.

Moonlight on the Bay oil on board, Australian, by James Ashton c1910. Ashton was born on the Isle of Man in 1859 and moved to Adelaide in 1884. He was a fine painter of seascapes and this is a wonderful example of his ability to capture night time scenes.

"A Breezy Day off the Brittany Coast" John James Wilson marine oil English c1850. This is a truly superb marine by an important British artist in the genre. The original gilt frame is also of very fine quality.

"Sunset at Sea" oil on canvas dated 1858 by James Roberts. A well regarded Victorian painter this is a wonderful goodsized work in its fine original frame.

"Thirsty" oil on board by Louis Hyacinth Eugène Renouard, French c1850. A beautifully painted work of great lightness of touch and colour, in its original impressive gilt frame.

“Lady in an Ermine Trimmed Coat”, oil on canvas c1815, by Henri Van Gorp. A charming small French Empire period portrait in its original gilt frame.

A Regency miniature on ivory of two sisters, English c1810. An exquisite example of a Georgian miniature in soft blue and grey tones with great handling of the hair and costumes. The reverse is a beautiful ruby red enamel oval within a chased border.

"The Lady Archer", oil on canvas by R. L. Alldridge, English c1870. Although Allridge exhibited for a decade at The Royal Academy not many of works seem to have survived. Archery was a fashionable pastime for ladies from the Regency period and this young lady is also in Elizabethan costume.

A classical landscape, European school, c1720. This charming Arcadian scene was typical of the sort of pictures aquired on The Grand Tour. It has its original superb gilt frame.
