A beautiful Derby plate with a gilt border and a painted scene named "In Italy". Puce Derby mark and puce "In Italy" description.

A Spode "New Stone" Imari handled dish decorated in red, cobalt and gilt. Impressed mark "SPODES" and "NEW STONE" and an a crossed sword. Red enamelled pattern number 3504.

A fine quality Regency period porcelain plate with a gilt border and a painted scene of fields and a church, probably Derby but unmarked c1820.

A Derby Imari style plate c1820 with puce Derby mark. With industrialization European companies raced to produce good quality local versions of highly prized and expensive Oriental porcelains.

A Copeland & Garret Armorial fruit dish c1835. Pierced and gilded decoration with green background and coat of arms surrounded by bunches of flowers and two song birds. Underglaze printed mark COPELAND & GARRET LATE SPODES FELSPAR PORCELAIN in use from 1833-1847.

Ormolu mounted Sèvres style French vase c1880. The Louis XVth style came back into fashion in a big way in France from this period and this vase is a great example of that.

An early English tea bowl charmingly painted with flowers and a mauve border c1790. When the British first adopted tea drinking they copied exactly the porcelain wares the Chinese used, only adapting the designs in the early 19th century to use local fashions.

A pair of Royal Bavarian deco plates dated 1929. Printed Royal Bavarian mark and painted mark "handpainted by Frank Buchmann 14/6 1929".

A Miles Mason cup and saucer decorated with Classical scenes c1805. A great example of the neo Classical style so fashionable at this early part of the nineteenth century.
