A Robert Brewer Derby plate

A beautifully executed early Derby plate with a gilt scrolled rim surrounding a painted scene of Peter's Stone in Derbyshire. The piece has the puce Derby mark and in puce "Peters Stone Wardlow, Derbyshire". Robert Brewer joined Derby in 1797 and for an almost identical plate see John Twitchett's "Derby Porcelain", page 61. In perfect condition.
