An Anglo Indian glove box

This exquisite Anglo Indian glove box is a clasic example of the wares made in Vizagapatam in Southern India and is c1850. The box is fluted buffalo horn applied to a sandalwood base, still retaining its aroma, with silvered brass lock and hinges.
