An Anglo Indian sadeli work album

An exceptionally beautiful Anglo Indian sadeli work photograph album featuring four exquisite Mughal style miniatures on ivory at each corner, c1870. The cover is made of ebony veneered in ivory with silvered brass inlay and mounts. The central image of a European child is hand tinted and suggests the piece was intended as a Christening gift. The album is 90% full of period photographs most bearing the stamps of Northern English photographic studios such as Leeds.
