Arthur Trevor
Haddon was a painter in oils and a
watercolourist of landscape and country genre. He studied at the SladeSchool and in Madrid as well as with Sir Hubert Herkomer. He exhibited
works at the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street, between 1883 and 1890, as well as the RoyalAcademy and the New Watercolour Society, the Royal Institute
of Oil Painters, amongst many others. He lived in London, Cambridge,
and for a time, Rome. He was elected a Member of the Royal Society of
British Artists in 1896.
His work is represented
in the collection of the DerbyArtGallery.
