Austrian Cold Painted Cockatiel

A fabulous Austrian cold painted bronze cockatiel c1900. Vienna was the centre for the craft of cold painting bronze after it has been cast. The fashion for exotic animals and birds was at its height at the turn of the century and this is a fine example. Wonderful yellows, greys, pinks and coral colours. There is some wear to the paint but generally in good condition.
