Chinese Qianlong Period Enamel Dish
A superb Chinese Qianlong period copper enamelled dish c1750. The enamelling on this piece is absolutely wonderful; yellow ground with pink and blue dragons, an upper border of tiny pink bats, a lower border of pink dragons and a rim of blue dragons. Most likely used, with a liner, for miniature trees which the Chinese were as found of as the Japanese. In very good condition with a couple of small old repairs to the rim which are barely noticeable.
Measures: 42 cm x 24 cm x 8 cm
