Chinese rose water dropper
A Chinese rose water dropper made for the Middle eastern market c1750. Rosewater was sprinkled on most meat dishes in the Near East, and as a perfume. The Chinese made these items solely for export to that region and they were "shipped" via the Silk Route. This one is decorated in blue and white Islamic motifs and is in perfect condition.
