Etling vase

An Etling moulded glass vase c1930. Raised mark "Etling" and "France", in perfect condition.

Etling was of the most important editors of popular bronzes, statuettes and ornaments in the inter-war years in Paris. Dimitri Chiparus was one of their designers.

They also used several of the best industrial designers and sculptors of the day to produce glass figures and vases and bowls, most often with a frosted surface with contrasting polished reserves of which this is a classic example.
