French kingwood work table

A fine French kingwood work table with superb verre eglomisé top and fine ormolu mounts c1860. Verre eglomisé is the art of gilding and painting glass from the reverse and the top of this table is a fine example in good condition. The mounts and veneers are of the best quality, as is the marquetry surrounding the top. The table top hinges up and the interior also slides out as per a drawer.
