Elyse
Ashe Lord was born around 1900, dying in 1971. She was a painter, engraver and
designer. She is well known for her watercolours on silk and etchings in a
delicate, Orientalist manner. She exhibited widely, between 1915 and 1939 at
the Royal Academy Royal Scottish Academy Royal Cambrian Academy
