Large English Ironstone Chinoiserie Vase
A superb and rare large covered English ironstone vase attributed to Masons c1830. The decoration is gilt and enamel on a cobalt base, beautifully painted, featuring birds, flowers and lotus with a pagoda lid topped with an extraordinary finial of gilt roses. In good condition with some rubbing to the gilt on the finial and the foot rim. A very impressive and spectacular piece. (Shown is an image from a reference book on Masons showing an example of the vase but minus the lid.)
Height: 91 cm
