"Mignon" bronze by Moreau
A charming and beautifully executed bronze of a young girl with a lute by Hippolyte Moreau c1890.
Moreau exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris between 1888 and 1917 where he was awarded an Honourable Mention in 1888 and a Third Class Medal in 1889.
His work is illustrated in "Bronzes:Sculptors and Founders" Berman.
