"Nosegays" French bronzed spelter
A charming late nineteenth century study of a flower seller by Émile Guillemin c1890.
Émile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin was born in Paris in 1841 and died there in 1907. He was a sculptor of busts, statues and groups. He studied with his father, Émile Marie Auguste Guillemin and with Salmson before making his Salon début in 1870. He recieved an Honourable Mention in 1897.
His work is represented in the Art Galleries of Montreal and Toul.
