Lance Vaiben Solomon was a painter, born in Liverpool NSW, in 1913, dying in 1989. He studied at East Sydney Tech and the Royal Academy Schools, London. A Fellow of the Royal Art Society of NSW, his paintings are mainly skilful depictions of bush scenery. He won the Wynne Prize in 1946.
His work is represented in the collections of Art Galleries of New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and National Gallery of Victoria.
