PJ Boch Transfer Chinoiserie PLate
An interesting and rare European early transfer plate c1830. Made by Jean-François Boch of Luxembourg who merged with Nicolas Villeroy in 1836 to create the company Villeroy & Boch still in existance today. A fantastic chinoiserie design in sepia of people in a pleasure garden with a border of prunus blooms and pheasants. There is a small crack to the rim.
