Roman bronze bell

A bronze hand bell from the late Roman period, 2nd - 3rd century. Bells were used a great deal in Roman society, in temples, at funerals, for particular Gods and even prostitutes used them! So who knows the racy past past this bell had. It is minus its clapper otherwise in good condition.
