The Fencer bronze by Luca Madrassi

A wonderfully characterful bronze "The Fencer" by Luca Madrassi c1900.

Madrassi was a pupil of Cavalier and studied at the École de Beaux Arts in Paris. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1896.  He was a Member of the Societé des Artistes  Français in 1890 and was awarded Honourable mentions in 1881, 1882, 1883, 1885 and a Third Class Medal in 1896.
