Three Anglo Indian Teak Tripod Tables

A fabulous trio of Anglo Indian teak tilt top tables c1830. Two of them are a matching pair and the third is very similar. The Indian Empire was a great source of domestic export goods for the British who exploited cheap labour and local materials. Much furniture for the British domestic market was made in Calcutta and Bombay using local timbers and these are a fine early example. Beautifully carved columns and lions paw feet with tops of one piece of teak retaining its fantastic colour. Classic William IVth decoration. ( Price is per table - sold separately.) Dimensions: 2 are 43.5 cm x 44 cm x 80 cm tall and 1 is 49 cm x 50 cm x 76 cm tall
