Arthur Trevor Haddon was a painter in oils and a watercolourist of landscape and country genre. He studied at the Slade School and in Madrid as well as with Sir Hubert Herkomer. He exhibited works at the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street, between 1883 and 1890, as well as the Royal Academy and the New Watercolour Society, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, amongst many others. He lived in London, Cambridge, and for a time, Rome. He was elected a Member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1896.
His work is represented in the collection of the Derby Art Gallery.
His work is illustrated in Popular 19th Century Painting: A Dictionary of European Genre Artists, pp.587.
