A watercolour by Eugénie Faux-Froidure c1900.
Eugénie Faux-Froidure was born in 1866, dying in 1942. She was a pupil of Albert Maignan, Saintpierre, Quost and Léon Bonnat. She exhibited regularly at the Société des Aquarellistes (watercolourists) Français, and the Salon des Artistes Français, of which she became a Member in 1893. She received an Honourable Mention there in 1898 as well at the Exposition Universelle in 1900.
Her work is represented in the museums of Amiens, Le Mans, Dijon, Paris, Rouen and Tunis.
Her work is illustrated in the Dictionnaire des Petits Maîtres de la Peinture.
