Art Nouveau terracotta

A sensational Art Nouveau period terracotta sculpture signed A Foretay c1900. Alfred Jean Foretay was born in 1861 in Switzerland and died there in 1944. He studied in Paris from 1877 and exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français securing an Honourable Mention in 1891 and a bronze medal in 1904. Height: 52cm.
