Charles Taylor Marine

Marine oil on canvas by Charles Taylor dated 1850 - ‘A Fully Rigged Clipper off Dover’. Charles Taylor (the elder) worked between 1836 and 1871 and first exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1836. From the late 1840’s his work consisted entirely of marine subjects. The work has been professionally cleaned, retains its original wonderful frame and measures: 50cm x 76cm.
