Dutch tea bucket

USD 0.00

A charming 19th century Dutch tea bucket. These quite beautifully made objects were used to keep a tea kettle warm with smouldering charcoal in the base and the brass liner holding the kettle! Generally made from cherrywood with ebonised banding they now make great plant jardinières! This one is c1870 and measures 31cm tall x 29cm wide.
