Dorothy Bradford was a painter, commercial artist and teacher, born in Hobart in 1920. She studied at the Hobart Technical College, East Sydney Technical School, the Royal Academy Schools London, the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris and in Italy. She exhibited with the Tasmanian group of painters 1940-1957.
Her work is represented in the collection of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.
The works has been professionally cleaned.
