‘Thirsty' Oil on board c1850 by Louis Hyacinth Eugène Renouard. Renouard was a French painter of genre scenes and portraits. He studied under Barrias and Vernet and exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1841 to 1848 and from 1860 to 1869. The work has been professionally cleaned and retains its original wonderful gilt frame.
