'wash day' Harold Dearden

‘Wash Day’ oil on board by Harold Dearden A.R.C.A. C1930. Dearden was born in 1888 and died in 1962. He was a painter in oil and watercolour mostly of people working in rural or urban settings. He studied at the Rochdale School of Art and the Royal Cambrian Academy. He exhibited widely and was an Associate of the Royal College of Art. His work is represented in the collection of the Museum of London amongst others.

The work has been professionally cleaned and measures 26cm x 30cm
