"Women Dancing" a charming coloured drypoint c1900 by Allan Österlind. Österlind was born in Stockholm in 1855, dying in Paris in 1938. He was a figural and landscape painter and an engraver and watercolourist. He was a pupil at the School of Beaux Arts and subsequently exhibited at the Salon of the Societé Nationale des Beaux Arts. He was made a Member of the Societé in 1890, and was awarded an Honourable Mention at the Societé in 1887 and a Silver Medal in 1889 at the Exposition Universelle in Paris. He exhibited in Europe, Boston and Tokyo. His work is represented in the collections of the Museums of Chateauroux, Gothenburg, Le Havre, Helsinki and Tours. The work has been fully conserved. Framed dimensions: 66.5cm wide x 80cm tall.
