A superb French Chinoiserie cabinet by Mercier Frères of Paris c1900. The cabinet is mahogany with ormolu mounts and a beautiful lacquered panel to the door and embossed leather drawer fronts. The fitted interior is a series of shelves all in solid oak. Mercier Frères were master craftsmen producing luxurious items from their Paris atelier.
