Gillows library chair

SOLD A fine quality Regency period caned mahogany library chair with its original book rest c1815. It’s rare to find such a chair with the book rest still with it. The design for this chair was first illustrated in ‘Ackerman’s Repository of The Arts’ September 1810. Attributed to Gillows.
