A superb quality ‘Buhl’ wine table with a revolving top c1815. The top is inlaid with ebony, tortoiseshell and engraved brass and ivory. The stem and feet are mounted with cast ormolu. Thomas Parker supplied Queen Caroline with two card tables of similar pattern, but smaller, which she gave as gifts to The prince regent in 1815 for Carlton House. They are currently in the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle and the last image is of the pair of tables taken from the Royal Collection website. Dimensions: 65.5cm x 65.5cm x 78cm tall.
