“The Yellow Lady” Rare etching by Norman Lindsay, numbered 14. From ‘Idylla, 1922’. A book of poems by Hugh McCrae: “one of the most dignified editions of deluxe ever published in Australia” (Bloomfield). The book featured five original etchings by Norman Lindsay and 133 copies were printed, of which 100 were for sale.
This work is illustrated in Bloomfield’s ‘Catalogue Raisonné’ (pp64). His work is represented in all State and many regional galleries; as well as the National Gallery of Australia. The work has been professionally conserved. Framed dimensions: 36cm wide x 39cm tall.
